The Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge was inaugurated today at a ceremony attended by President Recep Tayyip Erdoðan. The hybrid bridge's 1,408-metre span fitted with Freyssinet cables sets the new world record for cable-stayed span length.
On 7 July 2016, King Mohammed VI of Morocco opened the new cable-stayed bridge of the same name in Rabat. At 950 metres, it is one of the longest cable-stayed bridges in Africa.
Between May 2012 and April 2015, Freyssinet took part in the project aimed at improving the road infrastructures for the Port of Dammam in Saudi Arabia. The programme included the construction of a 2.3 km viaduct that prolongs Dammam's Coastal Road and straddles the extremely busy Port Road and the railway line serving the port. A construction method never before seen in Saudi Arabia was used for this precast segmental bridge, which was erected by means of a launching gantry.

Global projects were recognized American Concrete Institute (ACI) during an event at The Concrete Convention and Exposition, in Denver, CO, USA, on November 9th. The highest “Excellence” award was presented to MuCEM: Museum of European and Mediterranean Civilizations located in Marseilles, France.

Since March 2015 Freyssinet Thailand has been working on repairing Pinklao Bridge in Bangkok. Rejuvenating this old prestressed bridge using Foreva ® TFC (Carbon Fiber Fabric) is a great challenge for our team.
Freyssinet won the CIHT/Ringway Innovation Award 2015 together with Costain, TfL and RPB (Ramboll & Parsons Brinckerhoff) for their entry “Hammersmith Flyover Strengthening and Refurbishment” – which has extended the life of Hammersmith Flyover through pioneering post tensioned design and construction innovation.

The Coatzacoalcos I Bridge lies south-east of the city of Coatzacoalcos on federal highway 180 between Matamoros and Puerto Juárez, in the State of Veracruz, Mexico. Opened in 1962, this road and railway lift bridge required considerable repair and reinforcement work, which was carried out in several stages between September 2011 and October 2014.

The keying operation for the "eighth wonder" of the city of Constantine in Algeria was completed on Thursday 29 May 2014 after 18 months of concurrent work on four fronts including three balanced cantilevers and a cast-in-place span, on a 24/7 work schedule.
After the first phase of work to repair the Hammersmith Flyover before the London Olympic Games in 2012, Freyssinet has been chosen again for the second step. Work to strengthen the structure, with the bearings replaced, a new carriageway drainage system installed and the entire flyover waterproofed and resurfaced, has started in January 2014.
Freyssinet were engaged by Midland Expressway Ltd to carry out inspections on a number of structures on the M6 Toll Road. During these inspections, it was identified that existing longitudinal guide bearings on the River Cole Bridge were defective. These bridge bearings were adopted by the toll road from existing road networks. Freyssinet were then instructed to provide a solution to re-instate the required guidance of the deck.
The Seine-Maritime Department chose Freyssinet for repair works to the Mathilde Bridge in Rouen, damaged by a severe fire in October 2012.
