On behalf of the Nice Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Freyssinet has reinforced the buttresses, vertical bearers and foundation slab of level -5 of the Port Lympia car park in Nice, located 15 metres under the sea.

A new construction method and specialist equipment were developed to build Slovenia’s first stress-ribbon bridge; and the first in the world with tendons installed in grouted HDPE ducts.

Deformations of significant magnitude caused the opening of the horizontal joint face slabs and parapet wall of the El Quimbo dam. They resulted in the rupture of the external joint waterstop at the contact upstream face slabs/concrete parapet wall and compromised the water tightness of the vertical joints of the parapet wall at various locations.

Cantilever erection by lifting frame was the preferred construction method to build the four precast segmental viaducts of the Lian Tang interchange highway located next to Kiu Tau, Fanling.

The Freyssinet teams designed, assembled and lifted the roof of the Volgograd Arena, a 1,600-t cable-stayed structure erected at 48 m. Cable-stayed structure using a Big Lift technique.
