The installation of the stay-cables for the Ain Houala railway bridge

Freyssinet has successfully completed the supply and installation of the stay-cables for the Ain Houala railway bridge, which carries the Rabat/Tangiers high-speed rail line.
Our teams in Morroco installed 40 stay-cables, with 19 and 27 strands each, using cutting-edge mechanically-welded saddles embedded in the pylons.
Our expertise also included prestressing the deck and pylons, with advanced Tetron® and neoprene bearing devices boasting an impressive 26,600 kN capacity for the pylons!
